Accountant with Zoho Books experience (m/f/d) Location: Home office · Working days: freely selectable · Start: immediately

We are a growing company relying on digital, efficient accounting processes. To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced accountant (m/f/d) with solid knowledge of Zoho Books and Austrian tax law.

Your tasks

  • Setup and full implementation of Zoho Books
  • Adapting the chart of accounts (Austrian standard)
  • Setting up tax rates (VAT, reverse charge, intra-Community services, etc.)
  • Defining posting logic and automations
  • Taking over and ongoing management of the accounting
  • Ongoing posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Reconciling bank accounts (bank connection is already active)
  • Reviewing and optimising existing processes

Tax tasks (Austria-relevant)

  • VAT advance returns (UVA)
  • Preparing data for the tax advisor / annual financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with Austrian tax and accounting law

Optimisation & documentation

  • Building clear accounting processes
  • Documenting the Zoho Books structure for internal use
  • Point of contact for accounting and tax questions within the company

What is already in place

  • Zoho Books already linked to the bank account
  • Outgoing invoices incl. subscriptions are set up
  • The remaining Zoho Books structure is to be professionally built and finalised by you

Your profile

  • Completed commercial training or accountant qualification
  • Several years of accounting experience in Austria
  • Very good knowledge of Austrian tax law
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (setup and ongoing use)
  • Structured, independent and precise way of working
  • Affinity for digital tools and automation
  • Strong communication and solution orientation
