Our vision was to minimize workload and simplify the entire process through automation. The encoder should not merely be part of the broadcast - it should control cameras and mixing desks, acting as a production assistant.
The Solution:
With the Charon system, we brought this vision to life. It controls cameras from various manufacturers, Blackmagic ATEM mixers, and automatically corrects camera positions using AI-powered face recognition. Multiple operating modes (automatic, assistant, manual) are available.

The stream runs over SRT, a protocol built for unreliable networks. If the line drops, Charon reconnects by itself; recording continues locally and is uploaded afterwards.
